made it out last night to a spot that doesnt get fished as much anymore, or hasnt as much lately. Because of school we didnt get out til 4 and quickly were on fish. i caught one 13in crappie and instantly we set up the house as we looked a full vex screen of fish. the bite was great right away and slowly diminished as dark came. after the dark came in, the vex once again lit up with fish, not wanting to bite. i tried everything possible but all they did was look. at the time, we had two deadsticks down with bobbers and we would get consistent hits on those, but we also missed at least 8. all in all, we ended up with 7 crappies, all over 9.5in and one real nice 8in gill. the baits we used were swedish pimples with two waxies. sorry i dont have pictures guys, the phone is not working out well. What kind of ice conditions did you find? Any water coming up through the hole yet?
