I am finally heading out this weekend (Thursday/Friday) to use my new shanty. Any word on fishing. I heard mickelson’s was catching fish, but I was more hoping for Lake George or the canal. I haven’t heard anything else. Ice report would be nice. Thanks!
Late last week I went past Lake George and it was open water. I haven’t been past there this week. The canal had ice on it on Big Island and in Colona. Not sure how much yet. I’ll be out and about today and I let you know about Lake George. Be careful out there.
not been out lake georges way, i’ve been drilling through 4-6″ of ice in the quad city area. the canal, backwaters, conservation club.
