Got out for a little bit on the chain this morning with my 4 year old! He was a trooper and lasted an hour and a half (which translates to about 4673 questions about everything imaginable)! This was our first excursion of the year as we have been chasing deer and whacking waterfowl up til now. Manged 8 really nice gills – all on a pink CJS Ratso. They would not touch any other offerings. Great ice – 7 or 8 inches. Can’t wait to get out again probably tomorrow and Saturday. Looks like some weather rollin in maybe? … Bring it! I’m ready for a long cold winter with plenty of ice time!
