I have used a Vexilar for years and was at Scheels this last weekend where I found a Ice Machine for $249 on sale.

So I bought one and am anxious to give it a try this weekend.

Anyone else have any experience with this model?

If you go into the ice fishing forum and do a search on

“x67” there are several threads on the unit.

Change the search criteria to: Show “from all dates”.

I loved mine when I had it but the down fall was I could not get the filter setting correct when fishing with friends that had vexilars. But I loved it and am looking to buy another some time when my wife allows.

Same here. Mine’s great if there’s not a noisy vex right next door.

I have the m68, same depth finder but has gps map. I love the flasher the only negative is when I fish shallow weeds(cabbage or coontail). It’s difficult to tell the difference between jig, fish and weeds. But I love the thing. I mounted it in my smaller boat too. Been a great investment.

The X67C is my companion on the ice and best friend on the bow. Versatility and features are unique but some of the features really need to be enhanced. This little guy screams for an advanced filtering circuit for noise reduction!

Just FYI the X67 ice machine is now 199.99 while supplies last in Eau Claire at Scheels. I think the other Scheels stores should be at that price too.
