single handle jiffy?

I was looking at a old jiffy 30 with the single handle and was just wondering how well they work. It does not appear to me that a guy would have much control of the auger.

I just sold mine. Last forever. All you have to do is keep the side handle and hand you are gripping it with running along your body/leg as you drill so if it suddenly sticks it doesn’t get away from you. Not that hard to keep it under control. This design is good for drilling tight in the corners in a fish house. Hope that helps.

I used to have one and it was great for cutting the corner holes in the shack. Mine lasted a long time.
