I bought set of these a few years back for snowmobiling. They worked really well but after 2 years the seams started to unravel but I ride pretty hard so I would think for ice fishing they would last a long time. They were really warm and the parka had lots of pockets. The bibs were alittle long but I had them hemmed up. For the money, buying the pair is a great deal. I recently got a set of Arctic Armor for Xmas from my Wife and these are really nice but expensive. If I was to buy another set I would definitely go back to the Guide Gear stuff.

Just got mine today were waiting for me when got home. So I put them on headed to the ice very warm and super nice for the price. I’m glad I got them got the suit for the lady as well she’s a freeze baby and I’m thinking she’s going to stay warm and happy in these.

Dont be afraid of good ole Carhart. My ice fishing bibs are 20 years old and still fine. Standard insulated brown ones. You can get a new pair for $70. I just checked.
I have no reason to replace them yet.
But when I do guess what I replace them with….

I sold my blue suit this year due to losing a bunch of weight and I have a set of Carhart Artic bib and coat that fit great. My concern is that I’m a kneeler when hole hopping and I’m concerned about wet knees. I know Carharts are warm but not so waterproof.

I got by with a carhart set like that and a set of inexpesive uninsulated gortex bibs I wore over them. Worked fine except when drilling holes with a power auger. I would get ice balls on my pant cuffs. I found the arctic carharts were too warm. I’d be sweating by the time I pulled my gear out on the lake. I got so I would carry them out there on the sled and put them on when I had finished hauling and popping holes. They are certainly better than nothing.
