I am not sure if any of you folks have used a Wave Spin Reel but it is said to be the most innovative reel on the market today for the simple reason that it eliminates a “rats nest” on every cast.
I have the pleasure of welcoming them to Brandon Outdoors and should receive this new gem of a tool in the next week or so. I am going to test this on the front street of my crescent and take some photos as well. I will have ice fishing testing on how it works in the cold Alberta weather and give it a rating. The price is hard to beat but quality is bar none better than quantity.
Ill try not to keep you folks waiting!

Picked up the reel the other day, spooled it that day.
Have 6lb Trilene XS on one and 40lb Fireline on the other for this big pike and lake trout.
I cant say enough about this reel, I am extremely impressed with its features and design. Although I havent tested it out as far as casting goes I have tested the drag with rigs in the house and its exceptional. No slipping, binding at all even when its cranked all the way over. It also has 2 lube points for the reel, one on the back housing and one on the handle itself, so no mess oiling the inside of the spool!
Wave Sping offers a 2 year warranty as well, so any problems and they will send out a new reel after the reel is registered online!

The price is there, the quality is appearing to be and the warranty is above most!

Ill have some nice shots of it when i get to some ice fishing this winter, and hopefully that is sooner than later!
