The “Cold Truth”

When your first step out the door looks like a scene out of Man vs. Wild you simply have to curb your unbridled passion for extreme sports with a dose of commonsense. From the snowcovered granite of our nationally acclaimed “Ice Box of the Nation” winter weather is often fled by some while sought out by others. There is no substitute for premium clothing that keeps you both dry and warm in extreme conditions. You’ll once again notice this year many of the “In Depth Outdoors Pro Staff” with Snosuit stamped on their personal gear. Regardless of any other modern piece of equipment a person may currently own if your cold….it is very difficult to truly enjoy it!! Check out Snosuits complete line-up of scientifically designed gear to keep the heat on in YOUR body this winter!! http://www.snosuit.com

How many of our IDO members either already own a Snosuit or are hoping to be in one this season??

Do they make them for vertically challenged people? I’m 5’7 and 180.

The Favorite Wife and Daughter bought me one for Christmas two years ago…not sure why. I didn’t even have to whine.

That is simply wrong BK Plus with that winter coat of fur you might not actually NEED a Snosuit.

    Hi Targaman

I’m 5’9 and 170+ a turkey dinner. I ordered the bibs in Medium and the jacket in Large. I don’t like bibs that are too large thus dragging on the ground and building elephant feet in the snow. This is a PERFECT fit for me. My GUESS would be you might want to try something similiar as to mixing and matching sizes for tops and bottoms. Probably something you’ll want to try on to assure a proper fit!!

Welcome to IDO US Johnson, you got some very good bibs and will be putting them to the test soon. I got mine last year and wouldn’t think about fishing in the cold without them.

Wind, rain, snow and bitter cold doesn’t stand a chance against my SnoSuit.

What is the difference between snosuit and the frabil new one. I thought Frabil bought snosuit?????? Iwould like to get the bibs but am currently still using the blue suit. Never liked any of the jackets anyone has made yet.I also am aero-dynamically challenged as well.I still hate the hoods on every one.

    Hi Wismitty,

When Snosuit was purchased by Frabill it is my understanding there were a few simple changes like an updated zipper, and possibly a slightly different fabric here or there. I have the newest suit under the Frabill/Snosuit name. AMAZING QUALITY!! RIDICULOUSLY WARM!! Highly suggested!!

    Hi Wismitty,

The IceSuit and the SnoSuit are different products. I think
the IceSuit was developed by Frabill to compete with the
    Ice Armor price points.
The IceSuit is sold as a set and you cannot mix and match
sizes. The Ice Armor is the same.
With the SnoSuit the jacket and bibs are sold separately so
you can mix and match sizes.

There are several differences between the two and you
    can compare them here.

I will say that sometimes the SnoSuit is a little too warm
so in a perfect world it would be nice to own both.

As I’ve fielded a lot of questions on where to buy….Wismitty is right on the $$. The Ice fishing show is the place to be to check everything out! BE THERE!! Stop by and say hello to the boys working the booths! We all look forward to shaking your hands. Expect to buy a Marcum if your looking for me!! I’ll have my “Red” hat on!!

    Good info Dandorn
