Anyone ever try using Sonnys during the hardwater channel cat season? My go-to baits have always been cut sucker or squished fatheads, but I’ve still got a half a tub left over from open water that I’m going to try. Maybe pre-pack several tubes in the warm house (like the FW will ever let that happen ) and put them in a ziplock?

I was talking with a true “all I ever use” stink bait guy this fall. He said they will bit on Sonny’s as long as you can stand being out in the weather.

They heated it indoors and kept it in a cooler to keep it soft.

Don’t know for sure, but hope to find out!

I have used it in early march and caught fish on it. need to keep it warm so it sticks.
