I’ll wave as I drive by on the interstate. The FW and I are taking the boy back to Madison for spring semester. Somebody keep BK in line.

Well Pat….the hour is drawing near. What’s it going to be…? Fishing party or blanket party?

I can swing by Sam’s Club and pick up a bulk box of soap bars if anyone’s interested.

    Is it Friday YET??

I’m all wound up tighter than the coil on Herb’s first Model A!

I was just looking through all of these posts.

I just can’t get over how many of you want to switch from the mighty (little) walleye to the Hard Fighting Channel Catfish.

It must be true that catfishing is growing very fast!

Just remember the whiskers of a catfish sting!

So who will be rolling in Friday night? Looks like Cam and I might be driving in some snow, hopefully not too much If things go well we should be at the motel around 8. Might be ready for a refreshment Pat, any establishments close by that serves up a good “old fashioned”?

I’m staying with buddy in Mauston Fri. nite and then dragging him along Sat. For walleyes I’ll be using some jigs Dean gave me when I picked up my rod from the 2010 FYB contest. He told me they never fail. Can’t wait to catch my 1st cat on my St. Croix.

We won’t be in until Sat. morning, sounds like BK has to sneak out of the house before his FW wakes up so we should be on the road between 5:30 and 6 a.m.. Beeks I hope the dogs dont bark to loud when I come pounding on the door that early

    Looking forward to some fishin

Glad I check the old LX-5! I haven’t used it in 2 years and the battery is totally dead.

But the Strikelite fired up again on pull two.

FW said why don’t you just leave tonight?

    Newest info,

For your tip ups. Medium sized golden shiners have been best for eyes and cats recently. Rosey Reds have been outproducing fatheads in jigging applications.

The wilderness baitshop has recieved a lot of bait and should be ready for us.

Plan on having an assortment of spoons/jigs. I plan on using some Buckshot spoons with a 4-5″ dropper and a whole minnow. We know there are fish in this area and hope our crew can crack the code to catch more of them. I’m looking forward to it.

Got any GPS coordinates to the launch we will be using?

According to my H20 the launch coordinates are as follows
    44.09.195
    89.59.012

    Here are the updated directions.

Take HWY 21 to CTY G (about 1 mile east of Necedah) turn North on CTY G (left if you’re headed eastbound)
Travel about 8 miles on G and turn right on 8th St. Take 8th st until the road ends.
From here you can turn left to get to the bait shop, or right will take you to Wilderness Park.
