Just might make a herculean effort to attend this event.
But ~ I’ll most likely be one of those guys targeting fish in the “fish by mistake” category. I’d hate to bloody any lips in the deep freeze of winter.

Going to have to find my best channel cat spots for this one. If the timing is right, we can catch cats, white bass, Walleyes and Crappies all in the one area.

We don’t have to do we? I’ve already made the concession that we don’t have to come with a Marcum.

Actually… what a great time for an on the water comparison!

Putting the transducer where the rubber meets the road…or in this case, where the transducer sees the fish!

Very good eating smoked, fried or grilled and I heard they get channels from 4-6 lbs. That a heck of a fight on a jig stick.

How many ways are there to skin a cat?

I’ll be using a black rod with 80 pound Cortland MasterBriad…

    Use your regular walleye gear.

    I’ll be using a pink…yes I said pink!

The Pink Glow Lightening Spoon from [http://www.customjigs.com/icefishing/hardspoons/demon_spoon.html]Custom Jigs and Spins<<[/url] in the 1/8 version tipped with a live or dead fathead minnow.

Although each body of water is a little different, I’ve had my best luck with this pink color…go figure huh?
