I saw the new colors of the Gill Pill & Diamond Jig from Custom Jigs and Spins today. They put me into overdrive for wanting ice to fish through. Not only that, but I do believe the Diamond Jig was in the new BIGGER size.

    BRING ON THE HARD WATER!!!

The moment I get the big from the Boss @ CJS, I’ll post pics. Stay tuned, these baits look great!

oh great, Bret reads this and he’ll be wearing his Strike Master suit all day long and be driveway fishing out of his new Otter shelter.

Hurry up with the post of new products – I’m in need of restocking my arsenal.

I’ll second the hard water wishes, those others that are crying about the inevitable need to move south.

I have been thinking getting ready for an order to CJ&S, maybe I should wait. Thanks for the heads up Blue.

The Boss gave me 2 big when I asked if I could post the pics of the new colors, so here they are!

However, you’ll have to wait a few weeks to purchase these beauties(probably closer to Oct.). They won’t be available on the CJS website for purchase until then.

I’m really ready to hit the ice, my buddy just purchased a 4-wheeler for the ponds and lakes, my back still hurts from moving all that snow last year so I’m kind of torn. Need to get a new snow blower so the wife can have the sidewalks cleared

I love the looks of the gillpill, but I am not sure of the size that I will want. I wish that they would picture there sizes along side a dime so I could tell exactly what I want. Them jigs sure look good. Jerry

Octoberfest beer at the liquor store, squash and pumpkins at the supermarket, cool mornings. I can feel the ice moving south from Canada.

Gee, I’m turning into an optimist.

Boys, boys, boys, “chill” a little on the hard water it will be here soon enough and I will be enjoying my first ice hotspot all to myself again and hammering big gils, perch walleye, bass and pike. BUT in the meantime get out and enjoy the fall bite that is allready in full swing. Life is too short to just wait around for ice

Now I feel right at home for my first post here! I have gone through my gaer a ton of times getting everything ready to rock. The Solo’s are on stand by just waiting to make swiss cheese on the lake, also it would be nice to put an end to all my day dreams from the hot summer!

You want some ice? So do a lot of us ice heads. Right now all we have, is to make sure we are ready when it gets here. And the smoke from our Strikemasters.

Hang in there, soon we will be walking on water again…

I like those colors as well, kinda like the old orange craw husky jerk that worked so well on mille lacs. I think those bigger diamond jigs may work in the orange craw color for pesky perch this winter.
