I was cleaning out the portable this spring. Found that the plastic tub on my Voyager has worn through in a spot, and as you all know thats not a good deal when you are pulling it with snow on the lake. Wondering if you guys have any suggestions for a good patch. Thanks in advance

I fixed a hole worn through by applying epoxy over the hole and then adding hyfax runners to the sled. It has held up for 2 years now.
Now that I have a new sled I will add the runners before wearing a hole into the sled.

did you put the runners over the hole. It looks like the runner kits come with only 2 runners and they say to put them on the outside ridges. My hole is on one of the inside ridges.

You can use more than one kit. My otter has 5 hyfax on it, ofcourse the kit came with 5 too.

It might be less costly to buy hyfax for snowmobiles for your needs (depending on kit cost if you want multiple hyfax). Some of the older models were solid hyfax rather than the new groved and slotted hyfax used on later models.

I applied the epoxy on both sides first and let sit over night. The runner covered half the hole. It has held up well and I do not get snow in the tub anymore.
