Finally got out yesterday. With the warm weather here in central Iowa (50 yesterday) I wanted to get out before the ice was gone. I had the pleasure of fishing with a couple of good friends, Mike Farrell and Chuck Holcomb. We started at about 2:00pm and popped a few holes in an area that had produces before. The fish were not very aggressive but we did manage to catch 15 really nice gills and some smaller bass. The bigger gills were 10-11 inches and what a ball. The ice was still 6″ thick so we may have a few more chances to get out. Can’t wait to put the boat on the water, c’mon spring.

Couldn’t figure out how to post multiple pictures. Here’s Chuck with a good one.

Things are going great. I am dying to put the boat on the water and I think I will be going to Redwing the last week in March. Hope things are going good up your way.
