Strikemaster Power Augers

    I was at Cabelas today and they had a closeout on the Strikemaster, among others, power augers. It was like a KMART blue light special, the guy announcing over the PA they just lowered the price, and boy..were they going out the door. I grabbed a 3hp 10″ Strikemaster for $100 off their reg price and am now wondering if I really need all that power and 36# weight? The 2 hp model was at $269 and about 10# lighter, but they were all 10″. Anybody have some scoop for me? Did I louse up on this big mamma?

    Well it’s kind of what ever you might like? I don’t like to carry the bigger 3hp models any more……they just tire you out too quickly. I went to a 2hp.Jiffy a number of years ago, and I’m glad I did!
    A deal is a deal………maybe you could sell it for more than you paid for it now?
