So I have co-worker who has a hard time leaving well enough alone. I snapped a pic of it after he finished putting the final touches on it and thought I’d share. The paint is was stripped off the handle and auger and chrome plated. A custom bracket of aluminum diamond tread now holds the on/off switch and primer. Engine and gearcase was painted candyapple red and a custom fuel tank was built out of a piece of stainless exhaust pipe and endcaps turned out of round stainless stock then polished. I think he’s got waayyyyy too much time on his hands. I once gave him an old 70’s Penny’s pushmower ready for the scrap heap and he turned it into an orange, complete with racing stripe and aluminum spinners piece of art.

The chrome looks really sweet, espicially the bit. Maybe some day I will do black and chrome. He might have inspired me. -Mark

If it doesn’t blind you it looks awesome, almost a shame to even use it.
