The Sportsman’s Paradise outdoor show will be this weekend, Feb 7-8 at Buck’s Barn north of Thomson, Il on Ol’ Man river. Admission is $3.
This is the first time for this show, but they have some interesting exhibits/seminars. I will be doing a seminar on ice fishing the Miss both days—Something to check out if you’re down on 13 and the slab crappies aren’t going…which they should be any day now!
Too bad I have to work. I’d take a drive for this. BTW Peck has the hot spots program changed to 95.3 & if so when is it on?
Could you give some directions on how to get to Thompson and the place of the show ?
Take 84 south out of Savanna & you’ll run into Thompson. I’m not sure where the show is but if you stop at the gas station in town I’m sure they’ll point you in the right direction.

We should be starting hotspots up again on Fridays at 1220 about mid-march…if Sky isn’t still pissed at me. I was supposed to hang around a couple weeks ago to be interviewed about the Trap Attack at Redstone…thought Saturday was Friday and went coyote hunting all day instead.
