Went out of wheelers point on our annual work outing 3-8 til 3-10,stayed in sleeper shacks with Up north sleepers,(great place for sleepers.)the roads out of wheelers point should have no wake zones on them,lots of water on the ice(bring rubber boots if your heading up.)did pretty well with 4 guys,60-70 fish biggest being 24″ lot of small eater saugers,getting them on the usual red hook,& gold jigs.
if you are heading up,you should first check with your resort,(alot of places were taking shacks off.)don’t even think of going out of wheelers point without 4×4 truck with good tires.
