crappies were defineatly on the bite for the 2hrs i was out there. perch showed up a little bit even in 40ft. everything was caught at 20ft. you never know what your gonna catch at 20ft in 40ft of water. 11lb walleye? probably the least expected thing to catch but it happened.the lure was the artificial pink mini mite. weather was pretty good. no rain thankfully. hopefully they keep biting! tight lines everyone

Those fish look great!!! No matter what year they were caught! Temps were never below freezing yesterday and the picture of the kid holding that crappie suggest they were single digits!

The walleye picture is a nice scan of a photo. Glad you got on them!

Well played guys. I mean really. Bravo. Anyone else want to pile on, beat down and run off a young kid that enjoys fishing, the outdoors and sharing his experiences with others? I know I appreciate you looking out for all of us and saving us from what you feel to be overly-frosted fins. Take a step back and look at what you’re doing.
