Jiffy Gas Cap

    Anyone know where a guy can get just the rubber “O” ring gasket for a Jiffy gas cap? $14 for a gas cap kind of hurts!

    I ran into the same thing. The guy at the repair shop suggested trying to make one out of cork – works ok. Also try a small engine shop as I’ve heard that they are not as expensive as the $14 you found for a new cap.

    just go to napa or wherever and have them get out their o-ring box and find one that fits.

    You should be able to pick up a rubber O ring at your local hardware store

    Needed one for my old Jiffy last year. Went to a mom and pop small engine repair shop and they had one to fit……..$4.95!
