After the UPL yesterday a bunch of us headed to another wright county lake for some bluegill and crappie action. Found a pile of fish in 8-9 feet of water and they had their feedbags on!! There was some scattered rain showers, but that didnt stop us from hole hopping around. The highlight of the night was this 10″ gill i got on a white glow fatboy with a glow tail.

You can get plenty of tasty meat off of the 7s and 8s (if that’s what you’re looking for). A good fishery needs the big boys; good to know there’s other people putting these fish back…

Hey Bobb-o, That’s good to hear. Those big gills are the funnest to catch and it’s nice to let others have a chance. There are plenty of smaller ones to take for eating. Nice picture too.

My favorite thing to chase in the winter, big bulls.
