If you were going to LOTW in the middle of march and could only bring 4 lures/jigs what would they be? Your help would be greatly appreciated since I have never been there before. Thanks,SS

I would bring a gold jig, a golden jig, a jig that had gold on it and a jig with gold paint. Catch my drift…RR

gold is key, buckshot forage minnows work well too….cold colored.

Good luck, I will be going up the end of March and cant wait, favorite trip of the year, every year

I tried gold last trip up and couldn’t catch a fish on it. The only thing I caught fish on was a glow red buckshot??

Next trip I am gonna take glow red, and probably throw some more gold in.

    Tough to limit…
    Doodle bug
Forrige minnow with and w/o rattle
    Varmint
And deadstick, gem in eye, moon glow and plain hook

Colors that have been productive… Gold, chartruce, pink, hot pink, red, yellow
I’d say color would be more important than what jig if I only had a few jigs I was going to buy. I play a lot of changing and what works one hour might be different the next. -mark

I was up there last week, heading back on monday-
All my fish came on the 5/16 slender spoon, gold/glow-

I am going back in a week, and I am bringing red glow lightning spoons, custom slender spoons, and bft gold blade baits, goldcracker k-grubs, paddletails, ringworms, and gold glitter jig heads. Gonna throw the kitchen sink at them as well…

I was up Thursday through Sunday and by far had our best luck on stop signs and hot tamales. White glow with the blood line and the gold back were by far the best producing spoons.
