Pool 4 Backwaters-Long Walk Area Help

    Just wondering if someone would be willing to point me in the right direction. I have heard that this area can be good for perch, and I am wondering where it is exactly…Also, is it worth fishing for pike with tip-ups??? Let me know if ya can help

    that is actually what the area is called by the locals anyways. its on the pool 4 big lake area. best guy to get ahold of would be the guy that runs cedar ridge resort.

    there is a good one about a mile south of nelson WI .STOP IN AT CEDAR RIDGE RESORT AND TALK TO WESS. THE WALK IS RATHER LONG BUT ON A GOOD DAY LIKE WE HAVE BEEN HAING THE PERCH WERE BITING AS OF MONDAY MORNING.
    AS FOR BAIT FLATHEAD MINNOW WORKS JUST FINE.

    Great area for trophy pike if you fish pike make sure you use good quality treble hooks as I have had treble hooks straightened out while fishing this area. Be careful walking out as there are a few springs closer to shore by the railroad tracks. Oh by the way if you can catch your own suckers, chubs and shiners these pike absolutely love em.
