I came across a Brand New StrikeMaster Pro Laser Solo. I only have the head for the unit. It is the 3 HP 54cc unit. I need a drill unit for it; pref. an 8inch… Can anyone help me???

H&H sports in maple lake minnesota has all the different sizes for any drill for a strikemaster.. They may ship as well give them a call… 320-963-3818

Strikemaster has been sold out on just about everything since the first of the year. You can still get replacement parts, blades, etc., but new power heads are out of stock for the season. Your best bet will be to shop small mom and pop sized stores as they’re often the last places to have inventory. The trick will be to find someone willing to sell just a power head or just the drill but you never know until you ask.
Another thing you might try is go to your local Gander or other big box and ask the fishing department manager to do an inventory search on all stores to see if something shows up. In the past the manager in Rochester at Gander was very helpful at finding products and having them shipped in to the store for pickup. At that time (10 years ago) there was no shipping charges to do this and I was able to pull in some hard to find crankbaits, reels and even a couple St. Çroix rods.

The reason I ask is after the big contest up in Brainerd last month Drock got to sell off all the used Solos. You might want to call and ask if they’ll be getting in a supply of augers after the fishapalooza.
