One for the wall…der hey!

    This one is going on the wall. Caught on a crappie minnow in 7 feet of water. 40 inches long exactly and 20.5 inch girth. Weight=heavy. Short story, pulled the hook out on the first hook set. I let it sit for about 30 seconds and carefully began to twitch it back to the hole. About 4 feet of line was brought in and it hit again. I giggled like a little boy when I squeezed this one up the hole.

    Wow! At first glance the pic with the fish in the sled it didn’t look that long to me until I realized it was almost as long as the shaft of your auger. Nice fish! Was she hanging out in the same area as those sumo perch?

    Really nice northern. Just imagine how many perch,sunny’s crappies, bass, bullhead, walleye,and northern that behemoth has eaten to get where she is today. Congratulations !

    Thats a fat Pike!! Not much question that fish is pushing 20lbs. Enourmous head on that fish also.
