I’ve been using them going on three years. The one that works the best for me is the pearl (top left). It matches the forage in my area almost perfect!!!!! 1 1/2 to 2 inch baby white bass. Its produced more fish this year than my demon jigging spoon, chubby darter, and buckshot.

From my experience, I’ve yet to catch an eye on one, from my experience it seems to bring fish in to look at it and then I work to catch them on my other rod, so far all I’ve caught are pan fish, last time out I got a bit excited when something showed up solid on the flasher shot right up and hit it, turned out to be a nice sunfish, pretty much that’s what I’ve caught so far on them pan fish. Not to say there is anything wrong with that.

Fantastic bait at times. Started using them again this season after they took a back seat for a few years.

True, at times they will drive you crazy with fast marks and no takers. A few times this season however, when the marks came in hot they would eventually inhale the bait on a loooooooong pause. The profile is the key at times, not the wild action. Jig fast to pull in marks, finesse it to make em eat!

On tough days you can tip them with waxies or small minnow heads too

I’ve been tiping treble hook with a minnow head jigging hard at times with pauses and short finnese twitches every mark I’ve pulled in so far has inhaled this bait

I live and die by jigging raps fishing walleyes along the mississippi from pool 4 on down to winona area! i usually use a fire tiger color or clown (not pictured above) orange with markings of a fire tiger color. i dont think i have ever been on the river ice without icing a eye or a limit of them on these lures. I will never fish the river without having one on. i have also had success on LOTW with them.

when trout fishing gets slow I use the perch or firetiger ones. They seem to work great but have a tendacy to catch on the bottom of the hole so I usually cut off the end hooks to prevent any lost fish at the bottom of the hole now.
