First time

    Met up with some buddies today for a little flag fishing on a local lake. I brought my daughter Isabel out for her first ice fishing adventure. She only lasted about two hours and was more interested in the nilla wafers than fishing but it was a great afternoon. Played in the bait bucket for a bit, got some slime on her gloves for mom, and we headed home. She really likes being outside and I hope that continues

    Nice job getting her out and letting her get slimy

    I brought mine boy out for his first time at about the same age, had to go home sooner than you as he stepped into a hole and got wet to his hip

    I love the look on her face as she is studying that nice northern. Another little girl hooked on fishin with Dad. Way to go!

    Fantastic….and the pictures are awesome. It’s always worth all the extra effort to take the kids out, even if it sometimes means catching takes a back seat. Lucky you to have a cutey fishing partner like her..

    I do a kids fishing events every year and one thing I always tell the parents was to bring a change of clothes and boots , kids will always find a way to get wet
