Where should I take Dad tomrrow?

I know it’s late notice. Dad’s been laid off the last few weeks & we’ve been out about once a week. He goes back to work Monday & I’d like him to have something to brag about. We’re not looking to slay ’em or catch a state record. Just a few crappies or ‘gills for the frying pan. Fished Edick lake a few weeks ago with little success. Cleaned about 15 fish that day. Fished Morrison/Rockwood State Park the next week & never had a bite. Fished a private pond the fllowing week & again cleaned about 15 fish (shoulda let a couple grow up though). I was thinking about Spring Lake or Shabbona State Park. Pool 12 or 13 is cool with me. I haven’t fished 12 in 10 years or more, but if you name the lake I’ll find it! Any suggestions on where to go & what to use? PM’s are welcome!

Dang….I wish i could help you….If you were up a bit farther north i have some dandy gills and crappies going right now !!
