Taking my one big trip of the ice fishing season and we have decided on LOTW canada side! March 7-10 Three guys so far. Just wondering if anyone knows of a good resort or place to go through up there as I have never been. We are looking to fish walleye/sauger, crappies, maybe some pike? Any advice on a resort or place to go through would be greatly appricated!

Not to change your mind, but have you considered Chris Granrud on Rainy Lake? He catches some monster fish in all the species you are after.

Either way, have a great trip and bring us back some pics!!!

I def. have not ruled that out (especially after seeing those crappie pictures he posted!). The guys going with are on more of a budget than I am thanks to my tax return so I may have to make a short list of other options after all.

I’ve gone out of Bay Store Camp on Oak Island, and it’s a great experience. I’ve been there probably a couple dozen times in the summer, and made one winter trip which was a great time. They have permanent houses available, or you can bring your sleds and portables. Once you get to know Frank Walsh you’ll have a hard time going anywhere else. http://www.baystorecamp.com
