Hey guys what are your ways to find winter walleye on a lake like the one pictured? Max depth is 37ft and it’s relitavly featureless as far as structure goes. I’m guessing a break line but I’m unsure of depth ranges and lures to try as my ice fishing background is in panfish.

    Thanks guys in advance.

I have put a few arrows in the locations I would try first. I would try it in mid afternoon and stay until after dark. Daytime- 10 to 20 feet, evening- 3 to 10 feet. Get a bunch of buddies together and just spread a bunch of tip ups out.

Creek in-lets and out-lets are always worth a good look.

The two points also create structure to a point with the drop offs and such

and finally the steep break line would be worth a look also

Pick the biggest point projecting into the lake (lower Left) it acts as a funnel or pinch just like hunting. Any walleye or baitfish moving from one bay to the next pass the point.
Start deep with tip ups rigged with small shiners or jiggin shads work shallow towards dark. After you find the eyes somewhere along the point use those details to fish other areas. good luck

Depending on the clarity I would say in the range of 6″ to a foot and a half. Try a couple differnet depths and see what works the best!!
