A little slow, high barometer 30’s, spent most of the time in shallow water even though everyone was at 34′ of water. Rough estimates, did better than deeper water, due to better bite in morning and evening. Caught eyes (one 18.5), gars, norts, pout….all around multi species weekend. Big one, saw the light in the hole, shocked line (fire wire…good luck) and straightened the hook! Wish I had landed that one. Aren’t you always 1 straightened hook away from a state record?

Always laughed at this guy from the resort on Winnie about eating those eelpout. Then we tried it. Was good made some like poormans lobster and also deep fried some. I think the stain on my garage floor was there for a few years where I cleaned them.
