After reading through many power auger reviews and posts, I’m think of purchasing an 8 inch Strikemaster Lazer Mag. Has anyone seen any late season deals on them or other augers (be it new, used or reconditioned)?

    Welcome to IDO Kruse!!

I just purchased a 3hp Strikemaster Solo, and it is the most powerful auger I’ve ever ran. Would highly suggest one!!

I agree. I have an 8″ 3hp Solo. Whenever I let someone try it out you can almost guarantee the first words out of their mouth will be, “WOW, that’s actually fun!” It has a ton of power and cuts very fast. You’ll love it.

Try D-Rock in New Brighton They have the augers that drilled the holes for the Brainard contest.

I just bought mine from Farm and Fleet for $380. Best money I spent since I bought the LX5. I was drilling holes the other day next to a retired gentlemen who had an older auger and I quote, “That thing drills like a Motha #%(#&*”
