Fishing for a mixed bag of crappies and gills was pretty good until Saturday, out from navigational posts for airport at north end of French island. Believe the east wind had something to do with the slow-down. Fish are still stacked in deeper water along tracks to east of nav. towers where it breaks from 4 to 13 feet. Number 2 rembrandts in Black had been working on crappies, and green/black/white marmooska with Lindy pinkish techni-glo tail for a few crappes and mostly gills. Beliee this would be a good place to target when weather moderates towards the end of the week.
