You can`t find a Tecumseh engine on a snowthrower anymore either.
I hope Tecumseh is still in business?
I think they are just as good a any Briggs and Stratton I`ve had.

I also heard they are no longer in business. To bad I have had very good luck with their motors.

I just checked what I believe to be their stock symbol as TECUA and their 52 week HI/LOW IS $13.68/$3 currently at $11.08

Last month a few of the upper management were repaced but I have seen worse situations, like when I was employed by Sprint and they are still around.

I can tell you this…I have an older Strikemaster with a Tecumseh motor. I needed a new carb for it a couple weeks ago. My mechanic told me that Tecumseh had gone out of business and it may be some time before he can get me a carb. He did say that he new of a guy in Wisconsin that had some parts so he was going to check….He called me two weeks later and said it wouldnt be till May until i got the part. He ended up taking a part from another similar carb and fixed it.
