If anyone pours their own plastics, where do you get them and do you have any tips on doing it. I look forward to any responses. I am a machinest by trade so I am making my mold out of alum. Thanks for all the imfo so far. )

I haven’t made my own plastics in a long time. The process is simple….Mix part A and B…and pour or inject. Playing with the various softeners and other addatives takes some experimenting to find what works best for you. My experience was ok for the perch jigs we made for Lake MI. Had problems with color bleeding in a short time. A number of DIY websites have all you need.

Here is a link to a good article on making your own mold for the plastics you want

    Welcome to Ido Mr Nest.

I think there’s a few do it your selfers around but I’m not sure they are hanging in the ice forum.

I’ll see if I can track someone down for you.
