Anybody ever fished in the Frabill Refuge?? I’m looking for a new cabin style that I can fit in my car, and I found the Frabill Refuge but can’t find any reviews.

I have a similar model from frabill. They are very light weight and easy to transport. You do have to provide your own seating. I found that a 5 gallon bucket with a seat on it works best, however a bag/folding chair does work….uses more space however. Mine doesn’t have the carpeting, however i have thought of adding carpeting for both grip, warmth, and noice reduction. Setup takes a slightly longer time than a clam type shelter, but the shack is also less money to buy….a trade off. 3 people in this shack would be a very cozy experience. I have fished 2 with out an issue however. Number one tip i can give you though, is go to a retail store and sit in the shack. Even bring a couple packages in to the shack to simulate the size of your heater and other accesories you may want in the shack with you. I hope this helps your search for a “winter boat”

From the looks of it ,it seems to be the same or close to my Clam 2000,I fish only fish 2 using the 6gal buckets with seats, works well for me,not sure if I would even try 3 people tho.
I would think being a suitcase shack it would setup and come down easy .

Hope this helps in some way
