Not sure if any of this info is accurate, got in an email.

Caught on 12/20/09 on Lake Oahe in SD. 15.3lbs. 10 years old.

Congrats to the young angler no matter where this fish was caught.

WOW That young man will be the only fisherman that can say he remembers the fish being bigger as a kid and not be stretching the fish

WOW!!! Congrats to the lucky angler. That’s a dandy fish weather the stats are correct or not. I’d love to hear the story behind that catch.

Thats is a tanker although everything from S.D. runs a little heavy on the scale.

Not sure what species, but there are some big fish on the ice as well.

The six inch hole would only have a circumference of 18-19 inches. I remember reading that the Red River 33″ greenback had a girth of 25 inches. Something smells fishy?? The hole had to be bigger, didn’t it?? Anyhew, what a beast!!
