Forgive me if this has already been discussed…
What are the best plastic baits for panfish vs live?

If this in in the archives someplace, please point me in the right direction on this site.

    Thanks to all

CJS shrimpos and ratsos have done well for me. They do make replacement bodies for them so you can mix and match colors. I just picked up some berkly grubs the other day and am going to give them a try this weekend. They may end up being a replacement for the euro larve I like to fish with.

K&E lures make plastics called the whipper knockers and I kill the crappie on the larger one which are approx. 1 1/2 inches and the smaller are 1 inch and the big gills inhale these!!! White for crappie and black for the gills…. BUT custom jigs and spins are killers also my personal favorite is the ratso in blood red or black

From my personal expierence this year, shrimpos have been magic along with bro’s blood worm. That being said, there are tons of high quality plastics on the market for pannies. One thing I noticed with plastics is you get more incidental game fish

Little Atoms Nuggies for crappies & Micro Nuggies for bluegills and crappies. Absolutely must have plastics.

i personally like the diamond jig or gill pill with a shrimpo body. the white and glow ones are my most successful.

i see they have new colors since last year, that pearltreuse and motor oil colors look good too!!
