After having a trip up nort to visit Dean and company today canceled by the FW (to many thing to do around the house )
I still managed to get out for a couple of hours today…….
With a front moving in and the temps coming up a bit I thought I had better get out before the deep freeze set in again….Good thing I did!

I drove out to a waypoint I had set this summer, drilled about a dozen holes….
My original plan was to check each hole and then set up the Fish trap over the best looking one and relax for a bit…..Never happened…
The first one I dropped the transducer down the dial lit up!!
When I dropped a #10 Clown Gill pill(tipped with a mousie)down it got about 2ft from the bottom and a mark JUMPED off the bottom and BANG…..
After that I was to busy to even set up the Fish trap…

The trick today seemed to be be drop it down to a foot off the bottom and just let it quiver….
    It was a blast..
Check out the tooth marks on one….He got lucky……. one time

    Thanks guys…
It was a needed boost for my freezer, just last week I used the last of my catfish fillets and with the meager luck I’ve had lately I thought I would have to actually BUY fish
Amazing it only took a little over 2 hrs…..

Ed….You name the time and place bud…I’ll be there..
Maybe we can talk Jeff(among others) into coming along
