I’m not one to buy into hype all that much, but I broke down and bought a SnoSuit closeout on crosslakesales.com and let me tell you that is it really awesome. I fished all weekend without my portable and if you just put your back to the wind and throw the hood up you really do stay warm. Usually my hands and feet get cold but it must keep your core body temp up enough I rarely had to wear gloves unless I handing alot fish. I did layer up underneath with wool socks and under armor base layer stuff then just jeans and a hoodie.

Sat I went out it was -7 when I got to the lake and -13 when I left, I had to take the jacket off when I drilled holes I’d get so warm.

So I give it a thumbs up, thanks for turning me onto it on this site. If you are on the fence on what to get this thing is pretty sweet, and at $299 at crosslakesales.com was the same price as the ice armor ones at Gander.

We’re glad to hear you like your Snosuit. I know more and more ice anglers that have been willing to give the product a try feel exactly the way you do.

I also bought a snosuit through crosslake sales. I’ve been hunting and fishing all my life and never had anything even remotely this warm. Between me telling people about it and them seeing me out with it, I know six guys alone that I work with went out and bought one. I should be be getting a commision for the advertisement!!!!

    I agree completely!

I’ve been sick and away from a computer for a few days, but I was going to put up a report very similar to this one. I took my Snosuit out a couple times this fall, but really gave it a test this weekend. With temps below -20 atleast two of the mornings, I had no problem staying warm. I wore a pair of sweatpants and an Underarmor coldgear top. Numerous times while drilling I opened the jacket wide open and threw off my gloves I was so warm. I had warm hands and feet all weekend too! Thanks guys for all the hyping because I’m glad I finally bit.

You can certainly over dress with a Snosuit on….I have found that basic jeans, long sleeve shirt, and hoodie is all you need for warmth with the SnoSuit. I have worn the Under Armour once under the snosuit…..Never again…
    from me about Snosuit.

Been looking to upgrade into a serious suit. Sounds like a pretty good deal, might have to look into it.
