Went to Spirit lake today and about had a heart attach because the snow was so deep. I wouldn’t recommend fishing it without a snowmobile to get you out and back. Walking out and pulling your sled isn’t any fun plus we only caught 2 perch in the 5+hours we were there. We fished it all, anglers bay, buffalo run and wanted to get out to stoney point but after the first couple treks we decided against it. Got back to Clear Lake in time to catch 10 yellows so it wasn’t a total wash. Keep your lines tight.

Where did you pick up the yellows, on the little lake? I’m going Friday to try it out.

We were in the little lake right off of the Makintosh landing in 8 ft of water. We were actually nw of the biggest cluster of houses.

Made it on the ice @ Clear Lake today from 2 till 5. 6 guys, 4 shacks north of the island from 8 to 12 fow no fished marked on vexilars and none caught. With the 0 degree temp and wind it was brutal getting out and setting up. Was still better than being at home. Did not see another shack on the lake as far as I could see.
