Ice around Leech Lake?

    Looking for an ice report around Hackensack/Walker area. Going up for New Years, and wondering if I should bring up the permanent. Thanks!

    Just got off Rush near New York Mills. There were lots of permanent shacks out there. 12 inches of ice, not much in the way of slush. Just remember, NO ICE IS 100% SAFE.
