    Looking to head out to lake Elmo Mn Thursday Morning. Anyone have any info on the fishing. Walleye, panfish? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Not much pressure, extreemly deep lake, be careful of springs, very clear 20 plus feet of being able to see lures and bait, may have a lot of slush on right now.Talk to bait shops before going out.

    Talk to the guy at Blue Ribbon Bait in Oakdale. I think he pulled the state record Tiger Muskie out of there a few years back.

    Anyway he should have some info for you.

    Do you know where the access is? If so no need to post it

    By foot covering lots of ground is a lot of work. The South end of the lake has a nice bay that you can tip up fish with the creek coming in gives it an inviting place. As for conditions I typically stay off the lake until mid Jan but the water is down about 1.5 feet so there is lots of missing water and a little more walking to hit deeper depths.
