Well tommorow is gonna be my first attempt at ice fishing this year, going to try locally around the rochester area, foster arrends, chester, zumbro… ect… i checked foster christmas.. there was like an inch of slush… that will be fun 
but hey.. ice fishing is ice fishing 
weather its in slush or not. ill post tommrowo how i did!~ 
and advice on how these lakes are doing right now would be awesome btw!!! 
Good luck, I’m heading out for the first time this season too tomorrow, but I’m just hitting a buddy’s perm shack, I think we’ll do ok. Got all my tackle set tonight, new line on all rods, new battery for the Marcum, can’t wait should be fishing by 7am or so. 
Dropping my son off at daycare and heading out for my 1st time as well. Tight lines to all.
How’d it go guys? tough day for me, ended with 7 9-10″ crappies, missed about as many couple sunfish, bite was TTOOUUGGHH! I worked really hard for each fish today, shrimpo’s took top honors today, and all but one fish that I took on a spoon and minnow head.
Sure as heck beat being at work
