Anyone having problems with slush on the lakes right now? Hows the bite?
    Thinking about getting out tonight.

    Thanks!

We fished Petenwell today and the ice was in great shape Just a trace of snow to make grip for walking but not too much snow to make dragging a shack a pain as far as the bite it was pretty slow marked fish but struggled to make them bite I did catch a real nice 19.5 inch walleye thou

Fished east of Cambridge today and it was bad. A good 8 to 10″ of snow and slush everywhere. Spent most of the day standing in 4 to 6″s of water. Seen one group shovel clean a spot on the lake for there portable. When they got in the portable the water was up over the floor. When they got out it floated.

Other than that the temps where not to bad and the fish where biting.

If you plan on fishing the Duluth area in the short term, bring your waders. The slush is deep everywhere. Last report I saw said we got 23″ of snow.
