Anyone had there Marcum in for service Since Versa Electronics acquired them?

Wondering if I could drop it off in person and pick it up? Got a lx3 on the fritz, it’s gotta go in.

    Don’t worry it’s my wife’s Lx3 Mine’s still perfect.

MarCum doesn’t have a retail store or anything like that but they will let you drop off / pick up a unit for service or parts, etc. Give customer service a shout and set it up.

The service @versa email works well when I’ve needed anything.

I recently had some service done by Marcum and I was more than pleased with the experience. I called and talked with Jon Marshall in Customer Service. He was prompt, courteous, and shipping was super fast. Unless you live very close mailing the product would be my choice. Jon will give you a RA number and the rest becomes automatic.

Thanks guys I figured as much, I sent out an email right after posting, just curious meanwhile, I won’t expect to hear from them until monday sometime, I’ll just drop it off. I rather not wait shipping time nor pay anything extra, and a trip up there is well within the realm of our travels.

Hopefully they can still do TC upgrades, but I won’t hold my breath on that one, but it would be cool.

I emailed them 2 weeks ago about my LX-5 battery from the Reeds sale and have yet to hear back from them.

If you don’t hear back from Marcum in 24 – 48 hours they didn’t get your email. Resend or call. I’d call but that’s just my preference. But their customer service is usually very prompt.

Jon is a great guy, does whats needed to take care of you. I wouldn’t want his job.

Somehow Jon finds a way to do his job with style and a smile. I know I couldn’t do it.

I had the same problem with the same issue. After about five more emails, the battery was replaced. In their defense, they may be going through an adjustment period. Still very frustrating when you’re the one involved.
