I have a Stone Legacy Revolution that I have had for about 5 years now and love it. Still the best in my opinion! http://www.stonelegacy.com/09-10%20Product%20Brochure.pdf

I have two stone legacy bags, and love them too, however, how are you going to fit a 30″ 32″ or 36″ …or a 42″ ice rod in them?

I like the mobility the the stone legacy bag offers me if I am on foot panfishing WITH short rods, but if things are going in the otter behind the snow machine, they go straight into the rod box, and my revolution bag becomes a tackle bag.

What is the longest rod that will fit in a Stone Legacy Revolution bag? Is it 28″? I know guys that have used the same Revolution bag forever. The do last a long time.

I’ve got my 30″ Perch Sweetheart and 32″ TB Deadstick in my Revolution. I usually keep 6 rods in the thing, 3 in each end and you don’t have to break the handles down to make them fit. I’ve probably had my Revolution for 5 years now and its seen miles in the Otter sled across Red, LOW, & Mille Lacs behind the snowmobile and have never damaged a rod, which is a good thing with 6 Thorne combos totally $750 or more.

I know dang well it ain’t going to handle getting run over by something but I’ve honestly never been close to, “Oh my God, watch out for the rod bag!”.

    Love my Revolution!

Right now I am using a $10 hard sided rifle case and I have my 45″ trout rod in it. I believe I am getting an otter rod case for this winter tho as my friend got one and it is sweet and durable. I am so hard on equipment that I need to try and start taking alot of care of them or I will be broke just replacing everything.

My wife bought me a hand crafted rod box that holds 6 rods real nice. She bought it from a guy on craigs list.$47 you can’t beat it. It also has a storage compartment for tackle or whatever. He also sells cases for 4 rods, still cool but not big enough for me.

If I’m not mistaken, Stone Legacy quit selling rod bags for a year or so as I believe they were acquired by another company. They eventually brought them back to market. I thought when they quit selling them, they changed the design of the inside (to golf bag tubes zip tied togehter) to sell off the stock they had.

I know there are a few variations out there which might be why there is some confusion.

I can absolutely without a shadow of a doubt put a 32″ Deadstick in mine with room to spare, I’m sure I have room for a 36″ depending on where I have the reel positioned on the handle.
