fished monona bay with a lot of other people and it was slow at least for us. i forgot to charge my vex battery so that didn’t help either. caught about 30 total between my friend and i. kept 12. 11 gills 1 crappie and lost another one. used a diamond jig with blue plastic and a marmooska jig with spikes and both worked equally well. the wind was horrible.

how was the parking? i am suppose to go there sunday, but i heard the parking is rediculous. i guess a weekend must just be crazy. maybe i will stick to the northern kettle moraine.

it wasnt to bad theres a parking lot over by the pavilon that we parked at and there was plenty of room. but on the weekend it will probably be a little bit of a challenge and there will probably be a lot of people out there. but you will catch some nice gills and crappies. good luck if you go
