About a week prior to that picture taking place I witnessed what would have been my largest walleye EVER simply spit my hook as she swam past the hole. We were on about 4 inches of clear ice, and there was SILENCE in the house after seeing the TRUE BEAST slowly swim off!! I’d estimate the fish to be 32-34 inches with unbelievable girth, but certainly just a guess. I will say DEFINATELY It was the biggest I’d ever laid eyes on……….Pardon the pun.

Naw, James. Just make sure your hooks are sharp and big enough…

Here’s what I’ve got in mind to make sure we land Chris’ “White Whale” the next time it swims under the hole.

Nice fish Nate. Where were you fishing? I am heading to Ontario in jan/feb to chase lakers. Those fish look great. Great frozen walleye as well.
