Got on the ice the first time sat morning around 7:00. To my surprise there was about 4″ of ice, about half and half clear and smoke. Fished various spots with little sucess. I also didn’t see to many fish caught. Didn’t see any swiming around either, maybe they are not in here like the last couple of years. I cant hardly believe that theory. Caught 1 nice crappie on a gill pill with green plastic, and two perch on red purist and that was it left at 11:00. I can only hope that this isnt a sign of the year to come.
